Robin & Brad

Robin and Brad (such a sweet couple) got married this past weekend... and I have to say, well,
I had a blast! I love the fact that we were able to get a few sunset shots (one of my favs above).  I love the fact we were able to get some urban shots in New Haven.. and then some greenery near the water :-)
Reception: Aramantes

Here's a small sample of their day...  I hope you enjoy!

I just happen to capture one of the bridesmaids taking a picture of Robin's hair.. as I was scanning the makeup stand..

I love lilies....

Robin wanted to get a shot of her veil flowing in the wind...
I thought this was cute because she was trying to get the veil going...  :-)
Robin waiting on the side entrance.. love the lighting on this one....

And a picture of Brad's sweet dance moves with his wife ;-)

Special thanks to Christa for helping to ROCK this wedding!!

April (no showers)....

We were very fortunate to have a day with just overcast.. it looked like rain!
I'm so glad we didn't cancel... since a cloudy day can be a photographer's best friend :-)

For these couples-- I think we had a couple of great engagement sessions... these photos were taken at Elizabeth Park.

Sugar and Spice and everything nice...

that's what little girls are made of!

So true...

Mollie and Kylie are two of the most adorable and beautiful sisters I've ever met!
I had the honor of photographing them at their grandfather's home.. and well, hopefully the pictures speak for themselves....

Family Photos :-)

OK. So I have a vendor RAVE.
I wanted family photos taken (ugh, I don't like to be on the OTHER side of the camera.. LOL!)
However, it was important to me to do this.

SO.. we all went to NYC (Central Park) for the day (thanks Heather for helping out!) and met up with Yun from Yang Photography) who is such a great guy!  Funny, he doesn't usually photograph families... but that was ok with me since I loved his photojournalistic style and vibrant colors.  And he really is such a nice person-- I enjoyed talking
 some "shop" wth him too.

If you have an anniversary coming up (or want to have an engagement session done), my suggestion would be to spend the day in NYC, and book a session with Yun- he really does capture some beautiful moments!

I know it's such a challenge to photograph families (especially with children), since you never know what you're going to get!  But Yun did a really nice job!

I hope Yun still considers photographing families after our session... LOL!!

Here are a few of my favs:
