Can I have a dog? Please?

I photographed a session with Henry and his crew (ok, his family), this weekend. I just had to post these two photos since, well, I think Henry wants a dog. (This dog just happened to walk in on our photo session :-)

And who can resist this face?

I just had to post. HAD TO. For Henry's sake. Please comment now if you think Henry should get a dog. I promise to give the results to his parents.

PS. If you are interested in a session with a dog, and don't have one, I would be happy to bring along your choice of a golden retriever (Lucy) or a black lab (Sam). Both are great with kids. And they come cheap too- they work for treats and a walk in the park.

Kelly & Kyle

Kelly & Kyle were married on May 16th- and the weather held up nicely for us to take a few outdoor photos (some photos were in a little fog too- pretty cool stuff!) It sprinkled a little here and there- but that didn't stop us. There were some cool effects from the weather we were able to capture. I admit- I had a difficult time selecting photos from this wedding- from the cute flower girls, to Kelly putting on her garter outside in the street, to Kyle giving Kelly a kiss on the cheek (and seeing Kelly's reaction)... there were quite a few to choose from - so here is just a small, random sample. Enjoy!!

Kelly & Kyle

I thought these bags were so adorable!
Just a different angle for an effect :-)
There is another photo before this one of Kelly coming out of the limo- it's cute as well. And then there's another one of her and her sister and father entering the church- really adorable!! (See? Too many!!)
The infamous "strategically placing the camera on the floor and taking a shot" shot.
Do I mind other guests taking photos as well? Not at all. Not at all.

Congratulations Kelly and Kyle! Best wishes always!

Katie & Ryan's Family

I had the pleasure of photographing a client again- due to the recent addition of beautiful Katie.
I photographed Ryan when he was just 7 weeks old--this time, he allowed me to photograph his entire family (including his new sister :-)

Oh, but not before I got a photo of Ryan with his giraffe. Too cute!

Charity Event: Day 2

OK. So the weather wasn't in our favor (it literally started raining during the 2nd session). However, I had the opportunity to photograph a couple of families on Sunday.

Despite the weather, in total, we have raised over (drumroll please........)

$1,000 for the Connecticut Food Bank!

Thank you to everyone who participated-- we've just helped a few more people in Connecticut during these tough times.

Here is a sneak preview of the first portion of the day:

Mommy and Mallory

I'd like to introduce Mallory. Mallory has a great disposition (very laid back and is content just munching on her dress ;-) The next few photos happened right in order.

Connecticut Food Bank: Charity Event

When I asked the gods above for a beautiful day on Sunday, I have to say they delivered... well, a little too much ;-) It was over 90 degrees at Elizabeth Park, and I was fortunate to photograph nine beautiful families who didn't seem affected by the heat. (Must thank the gods for the light wind they provided too ;-)

I do admit, that after being out in the sun until 5pm, I paid the consequences- I couldn't move for the next two days. Sorry for the delay in the sneak preview-- there were waayyyy too many photos (always a good thing!)

We raised $855.00 on Sunday (thank you, thank you, thank you!!), with Day #2 coming up in New Haven this weekend (ok gods... can we hold off on the rain, please?)

And finally!!!
Here is your sneak preview (seriously, too many photos-- I had a difficult time deciding!)

~Tania

Introducing Juliana- she was remarkable in front of the camera. Can we say "model?"
Christian and Matthew. Yep, I see "best buds" here.
OK animal lovers. Please stop here. Thinking of adopting? Rachel and Rob adopted Jack, who was found in the streets of Hartford. He was injured, and the Center did a great job patching the lil' guy up. And now he's a happy camper.
Please run (don't walk) to:
Connecticut Veterinary Center
470 Oakwood Avenue
West Hartford, Connecticut 06110 United States
Phone : (860)233-8564

Here is Madilyn. She's 1 years old, going on 20 :-) She's so quick on her feet that boys will be chasing her (literally!!)

Cole. My goodness. Cole is so precious and such a beautifully-natured lil' guy.
Here's Jack. This little boy is so incredibly loved. You can see the bond.
The lil' men, Junior and Ji-- I have to say, not only are these handsome lil' men, they are just good kids. And they'll be good brothers to each other.
Khara and Bronson's (soon-to-be family)
The Morin Family (such cuties!!!!)

Rebecca's Bat Mitzvah

It was just two years ago that I had photographed Rachel's Bat Mitzvah, and I was thrilled to be able to photograph Rebecca's celebration! Now this crew can rock!!

Mazel Tov!

All I have to say is everyone in their family needs 2 uncles that just rock.

Nadia and Gary: Engagement Session

OK. I admit it. Despite the freezing, windy weather, Gary rocked this session. I say this because he found ways to make Nadia laugh and just be herself. For that, Gary gets kudos ;-)

It was so windy that we had to take photos at the Capitol to get out of the clear, brisk air-- the temperature (or maybe it was the hike to get there) was a little warmer.

Here's a sneak preview of the black and white shots.. enjoy!
