Alison & John

I had the honor to photograph my sister-in-law's good friend, Alison and her (now) husband John. Both Alison and John are just the sweetest couple. Jake and I had alot of fun with this crew, and for me it was just so much more special knowing we were capturing memories for them :-) Here is a sneak preview to their photos.... I admit there were so many of them, but I just selected a few....

Her dress was simply stunning! I love the power of natural lighting....

It's so great to be able to capture a moment like this...

I love this picture because it was the Luttati women, including Alison's mom :-)

Isn't Alison cute?

And the ladies celebrated in style!

This blog wouldn't be complete without a Morgan picture :-)

Kate & Evan

Thankfully we were lucky that the small rain drizzle didn't start until after the beautiful ceremony at Wickham Park. What a beautiful spot for a wedding! They had a tent setup for their guests to be able to enjoy the ceremony. Afterwards they enjoyed drinks and dancing at the infamous Ann Howard @ the Bond.

It was such an honor and pleasure to capture memories for another Marist alumni :-)
Special thanks to Christa Bosco for helping out on this day!

Congratulations Kate and Evan .. here is a sneak preview to your day....

I also have a neat shot of all of the girls' flowers on a table. I had to stand on a chair to get that shot...
this one was a little easier to get ;-)

I think I may have gotten a few funny faces trying to take this shot. I then explained what I was trying to do afterwards... here is the end product! Perhaps this is a photo they would like their children to re-create some day ;-)
I had gotten quite a few pictures of Kate & Evan immediately walking from their ceremony...
I captured the following two candids of them having a moment. :-)

You can pick your friends....

and you can pick your nose. But you can't pick your friend's nose.
I know we've all heard of that.

But apparently my son has taken it to the next level.
I present to you (drumroll please...)

The different stages that come with picking your nose.

It all started with some innocent painting.

And then it turned into this...

STAGE 1: The "I am not sure I should be doing this" pick.

STAGE 2: The "Hey... this is fun because Mommy reacted" pick.

STAGE 3: The "Hey, I forgot about my finger in my nose- I have things to do" pick.

STAGE 4: The "Attack of the boogers- with avengence" pick.

Ahh.. the joys of being a kid.

Note: Yes, I've brought this post back.... because I can ;-) But seriously, it just makes me smile...

Stephanie & Steve

Rain, rain, go away.....
We were fortunate to have overcast weather.. with no rain! (Although they do say rain is good luck!) But we had many formal photos to take, and I'm thrilled that the weather held up nicely!

The ceremony was at Arcangels church in Stamford, where a genuine Greek ceremony was held, followed by a beautiful reception at Beckwith Pointe in New Rochelle, New York.

The wedding was planned by Lynda from Details Weddings- and every little detail was noticed (from the customized water bottles, to the customized candies, gorgeous floral arrangements.. to the Greek band!)

I have to thank Christa Bosco for 2nd shooting with me and running the photo booth.. you rock!

Congratulations Stephanie and Steve!

Here is a quick sneak preview....
